Aaron Pomeroy is a dancer and a choreographer that has been performing since the age of four. Currently he is a Professor of Dance at the Oklahoma City University. Originally from San Diego, California, Aaron has gone on to pursue his love of Theater and dance at some of the most accomplished Theater companies in the United States. Some of Aaron's favorite shows include Spamalot, Oklahoma, Funny Girl (Sacramento Music Circus), On The Town, On Your Toes, My One and Only (Reprise! Broadway's Best), and The Producers, My Fair Lady, 42nd Street (Pioneer Theater Company). A company member with the San Diego Ballet for over ten years, performing as a soloist, Aaron toured extensively across the country dancing many original roles in ballets such as such as The Nutcracker, Seasons, Rainbows, Sleeping Beauty, and Backseats to name a few. However, one of Aaron's many passions is to teach young performers the art of dance performance and to continue to strive for excellence in the dance community. Aaron performed in the World Premiere Musical Roman Holiday expected to come to Broadway in 2018, based on the classic film starring Audrey Hepburn, which played at the prestigious Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Aaron has also performed with The Mark Goodman Tap Company, San Francisco Ballet, Musical Theater West, and recently celebrated his fifth anniversary with The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Aaron holds a Bachelors Degree in Theater, emphasis in performance, and a minor in film from San Diego State University.
